If women don't want babies they can keep it in their pants, like they tell men who don't want to pay child support.

If that's the case, then that cuts both ways. Why does the left care so much if abortions stay the same either way.

When a married woman wants to have another baby and her man doesn't, and his only way out is to abandon his family and wade through the financial mess of a divorce. And no one cares. Even if she tricked him into having another child by lying about being on birth control, we just laugh about it. So why should I feel for women who will now be stuck with babies they don't want?

Exactly, so the idea that men can't speak on abortion because they have no skin in the game is self-evidently absurd. As Paul Elam said "my body, my choice" is a post-modern guise to cover the real issue and justify putting the future of three people solely in a woman's hands.

@Ms.Magic94 Laws to that effect have long been in place.

If buttsecks is good enough for the gays we're celebrating this month, it should be good enough for the people who are claiming abortion is a necessity.

While those are great ideas in and of themselves, preventing abortions is not going to increase the number of unwanted children. Why? Look up the Peltzmann Effect.

Look up the Peltzmann Effect. Unwanted children are not going to increase to any significant degree because the lack of a convenient escape from responsibility will make people more careful. And I'd much rather pay child support for a child I don't want then live with the threat of a woman killing my baby or blackmailing me with the life of my unborn child.

Find me a single study in the entire world asking why women get abortions, just one, that lists "I want to avoid 9 months of pregnancy" as option. Abortion isn't about avoiding pregnancy, its about avoiding the consequences of pregnancy that both men and women have to deal with. Men don't get pregnant, but if my wife is pregnant with a child I don't want, I'm stuck raising that kid unless I want to cut and run and abandon the rest of my family and deal with the financial messes of a divorce. Men don't get pregnant, but if my girlfriend births a child I don't want to raise, I have to pay $100,000 on average in child support, that's 7X - 10X what a surrogate mother charges for her suffering.

Stop playing dumb. You know damn well abortion isn't about your body. No person in the entire world believes that. Even if you don't believe the fetus is a person, you at least know its a separate organism, with the DNA from two different people.
