  2. The fact is, America could easily afford to feed and house everyone in its borders, BUT liberals don't want that. They want people to be sheltered and fed above a certain threshold of quality, which is not economically feasible, and even if it was, they'd demand that threshold increase until it wasn't. In 1900 the average family home was 400 square feet. America could easily afford to shelter and feed everyone if shelter was a 400 square foot apartment and food was a loaf of bread a day, or something like that. But liberals would call that inhumane. Hence the world we have today.
