  6. No, we just keep redefining ‘survival’. Many of the things we call necessities and human rights today did not even exist 50 years ago. Guess what the life expectancy was in 1950? And in 1900?

  7. Exactly. I make $33,000 a year and I’m comfortable, and I live right between a ritzy suburb and a big city. I used to hate these people with all my heart, but that became too exhausting.

Although maybe you live in New York and California and think it’s normal to pay $7 for a box of cereal and $2000 for a one bedroom apartment.
