  1. It's child pornography laws that are the real problem. You can be thrown in jail for trading nudes with someone you are legally allowed to bang, and the punishment is often worse than for statutory rape.

  2. The problem is that's both a cause and effect. Rules that treat teens like little kids gives us moral permission to treat them like little kids in other areas of life, which in turn makes them mature slower.

  3. Pedophilia is sex with a prepubescent children. Believe it or not, puberty happens for a reason, and there's no magical, invisible, completely undetectable switch that flips at 18 which somehow slipped under the radar up of every single human society up until 100 years ago.
