  1. To make a huge deal out of this is ridiculous. No society in all of human history considered a 16 year old a child until the industrial age. The only difference between a 16 and 18 year old is slightly inferior judgement. This shouldn’t lead to jail time for a first offense.

  3.  @jujublues01  the melodrama here is a little off putting. No society on Earth considered a 16 year old a child until the industrial age. 16 and 18 are barely different. This is a really minor crime.
