  2. It really isn't. This is a real comment I found on on youtube influencer's channel with over 200 upvotes. "This is a very ableist view. Not everybody has the same means and abilities for self care as you do. So apparently even believing you should shower every day is "ableist" to people with severe depression. Christ.

  3. I just got back from reading the comments in Classically Abby's video about Beauty Standards and oh my God, the similarities with this skit are uncanny. There are multiple top commenters literally calling her ableist because she's not accounting for people who are too depressed to take care of themselves.

People don't realize just how little this skit exaggerates. Literally heard someone call her "ableist" for suggesting women wash their hair everyday (because some people are too depressed to do that) and get over 200 upvotes.

They are convinced they are perfectly little snow-flakes and the world only exists to kiss their ass 24/7.
