  3. FYI, Hosokawa is one of the many branches of the Ashikaga-family. Ashikaga is one of branches of the Minamoto-clan. Since there are 21 different known Minamoto-clans, to avoid confusion they're called Seiwa-genji, or more specifically Kawachi-genji. It means Minamoto-family that descend from Emperor SEIWA and lived in Kawachi or present day East Osaka.
