  1. If you look at HK tourism statistics, it's still pretty good. However, the difference is how dependent HK has become to visitors from the mainland. 16 million out of 21 million visitors in 1H 2024 were from Mainland China. If there are too many Mainland Chinese visitors/tourists, it changes the vibe and atmosphere of Hong Kong. I think hotels and airlines out of HK have already been focusing on mainland Chinese visitors for the past 20 years.
