And Australia has around 1.2 million in new car sales compared to 15-16 million in the US, so it's always a challenging market, especially since the top selling models in Australia are utes (a.k.a pick-up trucks). Honda has been in an awkward situation in which the 2-wheel motorbike segment enjoys higher profit margins than the 4-wheel automobile segment. So there has been a lot of pressure to increase the profitability of the automobile segment. To that end, Honda had to prioritize on certain markets.
