Famously they send a large part of their income back to Families in their home Countries, actually contributing very little to the system that supports them( Ecuador actually depends on this income from the States, this can easily be Googled. Currently, We do have a Federal Law "The "Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1989" that makes it Unlawful to Hire Someone Here Illegally. An employer could be subjected to multiple Fines. And, a Federal Law would take an Act of Congress to Change, so NYC is pretty well screwed , they will have alot of Expense with very little coming in
