  1. Russia says roadsides in occupied Ukraine “might be mined” because they don’t have a clue where any of their mines were placed. Their own people regularly get blown up.

  2. The Kahovka lake was almost certainly ecologically damaging. But simply removing it is even worse. The dry lake bed has become a desert. It had to be refilled as soon as reasonably possible. Hopefully avoiding any means to remove it like the last two were blown up.

  4. There was never any doubt that Wagner troops would totally avoid joining the Russian regular army. I also suggest their Belgorod and Rostov locations will never actually close. Why should they?
