  1. I recently bought a used Yamaha digital piano for my kids to learn. It’s turned into an amazing stress-buster. PS my dad died in 1976 but I suspect he was bipolar. He was an amazing pianist and I know the music zone helped him through the hard times.

  19. It’s interesting what Artur says about the S300 missiles causing damage by their burning rocket fuel. During the 1982 Falklands campaign, the Exocet warheads used against British warships all failed to explode. It hardly mattered because tremendous damage was caused by the burning rocket fuel.

  20. Ukraine is not selling oil if gas. But it does have fantastic assets plus the iron and other elements including rare earths. By the way Ukraine has estimated 190,000 tons of recoverable uranium. Russia has 4x as much but nobody to dig it out.

  29. Guy is 100% correct about EU’s failure to meet its defence commitments. However, he wants the EU to have its own military force. He thinks the very same outfit that can’t ramp up 155mm shell production should be running the empire’s defence. EU running its own military is exactly what Putin wants. It would be a massive and extremely dangerous failure.

  31. AK-74 uses Soviet 5.45 x 39 rounds. AK-100 uses 5.56 x 45 rounds (NATO standard). Presumably Ukraine makes its own 5.45 x 39 ammo otherwise they’d want the NATO spec.

  35. This war has collapsed Ukraine’s corruption. Everyone is pulling together to remove the invaders. When that’s done, there’s the huge job of rebuilding the shattered villages, towns and cities. Hopefully British companies like Potton can provide quickly built but attractive houses.

  42. I’m not convinced there is any animosity between Zelensky and Zaluzhny. The general has done superb work. It’s time for him to be rested. No soldier wants to be removed but a true professional like Zaluzhny knows when to step back with honour.

  43. I can see retired pilots volunteering to fly for Ukraine. I believe that if I had the skills, I would be out there. However, I don’t have even close to the skills so it’s easy to make claims.

  46. The waste is coal mine shale separated from the coal. It’s possible they also have boiler fly ash.

  48. The coal plant is actually a coking plant. The coal is heated in a reducing atmosphere (no oxygen) this releases combustible gasses, tars and oils. Coke is the remaining carbon which is used in blast furnaces to make iron and steel. The spoil heap will be shale separated from the incoming coal and ash from the combustion process. Cold ash is unstable and the heap looks to have been built by overhead conveyors. You can see the individual cones heaped against each other.
