  1. Ukraine will eventually throw Russia off it’s territory. But Russia won’t stop. The Ukraine army will need to resemble Israel just to keep Russia out.

  2. Bear in mind that after the wall came down, German politics was quickly swamped by East Germaners. Many have never accepted (or ignored) the Soviet atrocities and bee Osties through rose tinted lenses.

  3. French resistance in WW2 was highly fragmented. UK stopped sending guns & ammo because it was getting spirited away. The communists were planning a civil war after Germany got thrown out.
