  1. Shooting ground to ground missiles from a higher launch altitude allows a longer range because the missiles travel through less dense air.

  2. It’s not just the lack of ammunition. Gun barrels wear out and need replacements. The way Russia uses its guns (massive barrage fire) they go though barrels even faster.

  3. As ever with the Russian bloggers, they complain about the weak logistics and poor commanders but they never complain the war itself is wrong.
