  2.  @iancormie9916  We should remember that Billy The Conqueror gave the British their name. He was king of Breton/Brittany. His new empire was to be called “Greater Brittany” and later “Great Britain”.eventually Greater Britain came to mean all of the British Isles plus most of Western France and the Channel ports.

  3. The uncertainty about exactly how Bismarck sank is pretty much covered by the crew being ordered to open the watertight doors. As soon as she settled enough to coffee shell holes (normally) above the waterline she would quickly sink.

  4. Having heard this story many times I had not looked at this video. What a mistake . This is simply stunning work.
