@davidmichaels8934 It’s probably a good job that Vanguard was not sent to the Falklands. Her zero protection against Exocets would have not been a good look never mind the deaths that would result.

@Seawolf Debts were mounting because the government nationalised everything and tried to run it with autocratic central control. Huge expense poor performance and of course negative profits. Germany proved how well that works during 1930s. But hey, let’s not allow common sense to get in the way of political dogma.
