The new WTC is built on a graveyard so no surprises that nobody want to use it.

Trains can't accurate too fast before riders get seasick. Britain does not have enough space for any significant distance at full speed. A well built normal speed train would have been a much better option.

Elon told the local government they could have his factory with minimum hassle or he was going elsewhere. Simples.

When you have a properly defined plan you will get reliable progress from your contractors. They know there won’t be any design faults causing setbacks so can quote a fair price.

The Chinese tower will be as badly built as everything else in China. It’s no surprise that nobody wants to complete the job.

A similar dam in Italy was destroyed by a rock fall induced tsunami that (1) washed over the dam creating mayhem below. Then (2) the water sloshing lake collapsed the dam itself. It’s never been replaced.

Pile the sinking side and move northward. So it settles more to the south and recovers the lean.

Its much easier to sell the re-use of existing and disused infrastructure. The costs of tying together all the loose ends are conveniently ignored. Util the ** hits the fam and the end result is worse than useless. NASA's white elephant SLS rocket is another example. It re-uses shuttle technology (yay) but each launch, if it ever happens, will cost $1 Billion. Meanwhile Elon starts a greenfield company and has regular flights of reusable rockets operating at a tiny fraction of anything that NASA can do.

The Baltic Sea has small tides so how did those sand spits across the bays get built?

Has London ever has 12” of snow in the last 50 years? Just 1/2 of that would be a disaster.

The rivers up there all have that milky look. It’s dust and bubbles in the water column. It’s amazing how they stay suspended

European Greens will oppose any new project. They even oppose nuclear power. By far the cleanest and safest energy we have. I think that shows some people just don’t like change.

Why has Poland built a canal that’s already not big enough.

Moltex and Elysium have fully engineered fast spectrum reactors ready to go which are fuelled by irradiated used fuel. They take stuff with a 30,000 years half life extract the 95% fissile energy ignored by the PWR and leave a waste with a 30 year 1/2 life. YES FOLKS ITS TRUE. These are intrinsically safe and literally don’t house the hazards of PWRs that we see all over the world. They can’t melt down They don’t have fuel rods that over-pressure and rupture. They don’t create radioactive gasses like iodine 131 and caesium 137. They don’t have high pressure steam or water within the reactor. They are not using untested materials. The list goes on. They are delayed by the ultra slow pace of getting regulatory approval. Moltex hopes to be making electricity before 2030.
