  1. Ukraine has the expertise to build hardened shelters/hangars on its airfields. Why is this not happening?

  2. The Soviet/Russian KIA statistics from Afghanistan are at least 10x lower than reality. Russia/Soviets (same thing) massively massage their numbers. 15000 killed in Afghanistan means 15000 per year. The huge losses are a significant component of why the regime collapsed. People refused to believe the BS.

  3. It’s simple - hire contractors. They’ll be ex USAF/RAF/Luftwaffe/etc but they won’t be active personnel employed by these airforces.

  4. Countries that might help by hosting F-16 are NATO members. But NATO itself will not get involved. If any get themselves into deeper trouble, NATO (and especially EU) will simply say your choice your problem. That’s dangerous because Putin will step up his attacks but that’s the likely outcome.
