  1. Ukraine is poor for the same reasons that every other Soviet satellite was/is poor. The Soviet system was a failure from the outset. However Ukraine threw out it’s corrupt Putin puppet government and Zelenski was starting to deal with the rampant corruption. Putin’s war since 2014 was all about preventing Ukraine from improving itself.

  2. Why are we not offering F-18? Cost maybe. But they are designed for rapid maintenance and built to handle catapult launched and near crash landings. They could operate from civilian roads no worries.
