  1. My car is generally well thought out, but the aluminium parts (brackets and gearbox) are drilled through. That lest corrosion into the back end of bolt threads. So many have stripped out simply because the manufacturers made work for themselves by drilling holes deeper than necessary. I treat all that I can find with ACF-50 and aerospace spec anti corrosion fluid. Of course the one I haven’t already found will be my nemesis.
