  1. Balloons might affect autonomous drones. They will not stop piloted drones which will take out the balloons before the heavy hitters arrive.

  2. Balloons in a ring around a factory do nothing to stop diving drones. They would need balloons all over the site. More debris for drones to drop on the target area.
