  1. We could have had low cost intrinsically safe nuclear that’s fuelled by nuclear waste. It’s not happening because the regulators are being used to prevent progress. That desperately needs to change but I fear it never will.

  2. Too much wind and solar wipes out any CO2 gains because fossil fuel plant have to be run in hot standby. That’s incredibly wasteful but ignored by the statistics.
