  1. Their brake regen setup just proves that Porsche is thinking like an engine driven car company. They had the chance to break that mould and couldn’t do it. There is plenty they could do to give it the driver’s car feel. How about electric brakes that suck energy into the battery as well as the drive motors?

  2. If you have the money to buy the Porsche why would you when it’s so flawed and frankly so ordinary looking? The Tesla Model S is super cool and fast and premium quality. A few Posche fanboys might buy the Taycan. However anyone else with the cash for the Porsche could buy the Tesla and a pile of Tesla shares. Or they could have the interior fully retrimmed and still have cash to spare.
