My aunt was born in 1904. She died in 2008 after a life eating butter sliced off the block, English cheese the odd tipple and no concern about fatty meats. Her sister born in 1900 died in 1982 but she had a diseased heart valve caused by rheumatic fever. To live as long as she did with a seriously damaged heart shows her body was fundamentally healthy.

An American Dr was told by his medical regulator that he could expect a subpoena for mis-prescribing a certain medication used against malaria parasite. He said “bring it on, I have evidence of patients that were significantly helps. I welcome my time in court.” They left him alone. The bigger question is why was this med ignored as a treatment(?).
