  1. The missiles sent to Ukraine carried 950 fragmentary bomblets. Each one has a kill radius of 15 metres. The entire payload covers 33,000 sq metres (330,000 sq ft). That’s 3 hectares or nearly 8 acres. Longer range variants carry smaller payloads. Those that range to 300km have “only” 300 bomblets.
