  1. Russia has extracted its police, teachers, hospital staff and council officials. Everyone else got left to (?) Moscow doesn’t care. Any Kursk resident who does not already know they are “nothing” certainly does now.

  2. Gerasimov knows the Russian military can do set piece campaigns but little else. Nothing will ever change but he’s in charge so it’s his fault.
