  1. Check out Allen Millyards special engines. Viper V10 motorbike. Wright Cyclone V twin, Six cylinder Kawasaki (900 now 1300). Numerous extended two strokes. None of these would be even slightly interesting if they were electric powered.

  2. Li-ion batteries are a nickel-graphite cells which contain only around 1% lithium. They also have done cobalt but the petrochemical industry uses a lot of cobalt so that cancels out.

  3. Wind power has a considerable recycling problem. Carbon fibre is energy intensive and can’t be recycled. It also kills migrating birds. Solar power has a recycling problem. The cells use rare earth elements which cannot be recycled easily. Hydro power has caused huge problems ms around the world. Think Aral Sea Russia. Nile Africa Mekong River South Asia. Nuclear power is the cleanest and safest power source we have. But it upsets the Water melon greens because it’s nuclear. They complain about waste but in reality waste is not a problem. Even better we now have a Canadian nuke power project that will be fuelled with spent fuel. It solves the long term waste problem AND each kilogram makes 30x more energy than the original plant ever did.
