  1. Russia is said to have run a proxy war in Donbas. In reality their mercenaries walked in but Ukraine held them at bay.

  2. Peace talks right now with Russia are the worst possible outcome for Ukraine. Putin would demand ownership of territory he’s already taken. He would the regroup reset his equipment and kick off another war. Putin has to be pushed out entirely.

  3. Russia could have won if its blitzkrieg had been don (a) at the right time, (b) properly organised and (c) properly fed and supported (d) has equipment that can do the job. Russia failed at every level. It’s rapidly running out of equipment, ammunition and soldiers. It’s a failure.
