@perfredelius Destroy the dam to upset Ukraine and temporarily prevent them crossing Dnipro. Against washing away your own disposable troops (tanks etc were told to pull out) and cutting off all water supplies to Crimea. Oh wait - that wasn’t a dilemma. It was just plain stupid.

Anders, how dare you say the weather is not too good. Europe is supposed to be frying in runaway global warming. (Ignore that UK media is quoting ground temperatures when all records use air temperature taken in the shade.

The original Kersh Bridge hit was almost certainly not a truck bomb. The explosion enveloped the truck. It does not get instantly vaporised. Ukraine therefore had a weapon that could be used again. They knew Russia was looking for an excuse to stop the grain deal. So lets give them a reason that makes them look like toddlers throwing a tantrum. It’s worked superbly. It’s also made USA quickly send more SAM systems to protect Odessa. The destroyed church is bad but Russia now looks even worse on the world stage.
