  41. There are parallels with the WW2 bombing campaigns over Germany. The purpose was to damage war materiel factories but more importantly destroy the Luftwaffe airforce and later the army. The navy was also being steadily attrited. Germany collapsed. Similar actions are happening in Ukraine. Russia is being worn down. Eventually the big tanks will roll in, push the Russians out. They will then stay active to keep Russia out.
