  3. Russia basically micromanages its strike aircraft. Pilots do not fly to a plan and make their own decisions based on events. Losing their ground based and AWACS systems puts a severe crimp on this pyramid of operation.

  4. Ukraine lands used to include Crimea and fully encircled the Sea of Azov. The language was spoken right over to Caspian Sea. Using Putin’s logic they could reasonably take back everything to River Don.

  5. It used to be pronounced “Key-Yev”. I always thought that was the Soviet version.
