  1. Barrage balloons worked against dive bombers. They could not stop flying bombs. The Iran drones are slow could be stopped by radio controlled “model” aircraft towing a rope to tangle the propellor or if they get close enough a hand grenade warhead would take them out.

  2. Russia wants to make Ukraine suffer over this winter. Many city blocks have district heating so it’s relatively easy to cut off heat to buildings.

  3.  @john_in_phoenix  Proximity fused AA ammunition is very expensive. Those Iran drones are dirt cheap.
