  1. Yesterday’s counter attack in Bakhmut is small by normal standards. However, by the standards of this battle, it’s huge. Ukraine took an area of 6 square kilometres whereas Russia has struggled to take six square yards in the same time period.

  2. Russian military leaders are more keen to fight each other. They have no clue what’s going on at the front lines.
