  1. What about the (silly name) Liquid Piston. It swaps the wankel rotor and stator shapes. It has a high blow-down ratio so it’s quiet and very efficient. You can also have a two stroke radial it has four cylinders all connected to one crank pin. Or eight with two crank pins.
