  1. Tucker almost entirely brushed over Putin’s potted history of Russia. (1) it was incorrect. Ukraine was created by what is now Sweden and they went on to create Moscow. Kiev existed before Moscow. (2) the Roman Republic/ Empire ruled Europe from 300 BC to 400 AD. If Putin’s argument is realistic then Italy should be going to war to recreate its ancient empire. The world should simply let them do it. The Tucker argument is that dictators should be allowed to overrun militarily weak countries. USA and Europe should never support the weak.
