  1. Caravan towing chops the range of any car by at least 50%. It’s worst with the small turbo engines used in todays cars. All cars lose range when required to do serious work. EVs with a small range further expose the issues. With some luck, EVs will kill caravans. We can but hope.

  2. EVs are efficient in town (1) acceleration is slow (2) wind resistance is minimal (3) regen braking recovers the energy used to get up to speed. Constant speed on motorway loads up with wind resistance. There is no regen braking so battery gets hammered.
