  1. VW were not the only ones fiddling diesel emissions data. They simply got caught. But the shock is making VW move ahead with electric. They are still 10 years behind Tesla and a Tesla is building a new plant near Berlin so VW had better move - FAST.

  2. People are not stupid. If the car is more convenient drives better and costs less to run they’ll pay a premium. Right now Tesla cars are still a bit too expensive but under £30,000 with good credit options and people will buy. Get them to parity and engine cars will instantly have no market.
