  1. The Solidarity movement started in Poland but led directly to the formal collapse of the USSR. The Berlin wall came down in November 1989. Gorbachev had long attempted to reform the system but USSR was finally dissolved in December 1991. The tyranny of woke seems to be heading the same way.

  2. The (so called) medical advisors to Boris Johnson are really upset that he did not consult them before pulling the plug onCovid restrictions in England. He clearly saw the writing on the wall and made a political decision.  Interestingly, Scotland and Wales continue. To date, there is no pushback but we will see how long that lasts.

  3. Thank goodness the left of today do not have charisma of the 1920s-30s hard left statist European leaders. But for that, we would be heading for another rike (deliberate sp) but not only in central Europe (plus Spain).

  4. Trudeau has dug his own political grave. He now can't win either way. If he violently breaks up the convoy he's toast. If he ignores then he's toast. All the Truckers have to do is hold tight and Trudeau regime will collapse.
