  1. A huge mistake by The Allies in WW2 was supporting Stalin. Hitler was a tyrant but his economic stupidity and internal rivalry meant he could never win his war. UK and USA did not need Russian “help”. Their military aid to Russia simply enabled Stalin to annex huge swathes of Europe.
