  1. CO2 has a similar warming effect to Air in general. Adding more CO2 makes no difference. Ice core data shows that rise and fall of CO2 follows the climate. It reduces during cold periods (colder water dissolves more CO2) and increases during warmer periods. However CO2 always follows the temperature curve. Anything that follows cannot be causative. The CO2 concentration shot from around 200ppm in 1950 to at least 400ppm today. But the rate of change in temperature has not moved. It’s the same rate as we had after Medieval Warm Period and the Roman Warm Period. Photosynthesis stops below 150ppm. Ok we are now at 400ppm. But at the peak of the last cold period we got to 180ppm. That is dangerously close to the worst ever mass extinction caused by total failure of the food chain.
