@mum2jka Theresa May's proposed agreement undermines the Good Friday Agreement. Under international law that makes May's document null and void unless the GFA is first superseded. No such change is proposed to the GFA which is why David Trimble has a legal case running.

crazyclive Mogg has his own show on LBC but JOB can't mention that as it would spoil his deliberately distorted narrative. As for hormone treated beef - all meat contains hormones so what's the problem? The EU only uses the issue as an excuse to ramp up import tariffs to protect the French while everyone in the EU pays for the privelege.

@joemitchell1287 Of course politicians should answer the question but James never stopped badgering long enough to hear what was said never mind get an answer.

James needs to get a grip and actually listen to his interviewee. Then instead of his voice arguing over the reply we might get somewhere.

@joemitchell1287 There IS NO requirement for a hard border. Even at the height of "The Troubles" (much of that before UK joined the EU there was no hard border. UK and Ireland already have different VAT rates, different road fuel duty, different booze duty and different income tax rates. Adding an import tariff to that would be no problem. The EU knows that but it suited them to stir up trouble an UK was too naive to see it coming.

@joemitchell1287 If O'Brien actually allowed his interviewee to reply he might have dug something out. Instead all he did was make himself look petulant and got nothing helpful one way or another from JRM.
