Any separation vote now would almost certainly fail just like the last one. Though Scotland had its say in 2014 and not even a decade later looks like unseemly haste. Also bear in mind that 42% of Scots voted for Brexit - people who are most likely unionists. The same assumption can’t be assumed for those who voted Remain. Many will have changed their minds and the rest can’t be assumed to be rabid serparatists.

Why is JD so surprised? He would have had Corbyn (or an equivalent) in the position of stooge prime minister with John McDonnell pulling the strings from No11. That’s exactly the same effect as Boris but far less honest about it.
