  1. The actual costs for much of this equipment is considerably less than the original sticker price. Many were made in 1990s and due for decommissioning at end of life. Ukraine saved the costs of doing that.

  2. The Porsche and Audi efforts fall far short of their Tesla competition yet they cost considerably more. Then try to actually buy one. It seems that VW don’t want to sell them.

  3. VW is not yet competitive with Tesla cars from 2012 so they have some work to do if they intend to beat Elon’s team.

  4. The plastic supposedly pulled out of the sea is always too clean to have been in the sea for more than a few days. Real garbage patch plastic would be full of weeds and sea life.
