  1. Early catalysts we’re pretty useless and increased fuel consumption. They only worked properly when electronic injection came along. 2CV was cancelled by Peugeot because it could never meet the upcoming EU demanded safety rules.

  2. My in-laws had a Renault 4. Pretty much a 2CV but a bit larger. It went down country lanes faster than anything else on the road.
