You lose the fancy brake master cylinder and the vacuum servo and the vacuum pump when it’s an electric car. Steering is much the same though without the single job pump. Suspension legs add a ride height piston into the leg but it’s not complex. Electronic controlled magnetic particle dampers can be used but their value really applies on sports cars where a stiff ride is needed on the track but not on the road. There are other ways (e.g. stepper motor valves) to adjust damping on the fly.

@StephenMattison66 Normal brakes are hydraulic top spec mountain bike brakes are hydraulic. They are heavy enough for the job they do. In the Citroen system the hydraulics are not powering big cylinders like a digger. The suspension legs are just the same as any McPherson strut. The difference is the amount of oil inside the strut. Full = max ride height. Empty = sitting on the bump stops. The gas spring acts on the piston rod. But the effect is the same as a coil or air spring acting on the strut tube.
