  2. They say the cast under frame cannot be used on the front of cars for crash reasons. But Tesla do it and it’s well known that cats are built to push the engine under the floor pan in a crash. I can’t see that cast or pressed steel makes significant difference. Designing it the fracture in a predictable way is well within the capability of CAD systems.

  3. The door frame sides of a car could be cast along with the actual door frames and even the roof frames. Attach panels with adhesive such as used for windscreens.
