  1. The original MPV/Minivan was made by Matra Renault in 1984. It had a pressed steel space frame with plastic body panels. Over time they became more “normal” but at the same time got more boring with fewer sales. The Avantime of 2000 was an excellent spinoff spoiled by poor marketing. Those which remain today have a strong following of enthusiasts.

  2. A question about motors. Would three, six, nine and twelve pole motors work more efficiently that the three pole we see in current Teslas. (Gives different native rotation speeds for a given ac frequency).

  3. Can you have a look at the work of William Towns and his Hustler car/truck range of the 1980s. They began with some ugly styles but quickly evolved. They had steel soCe frame bodies with glas fibre infill panels floor and roof. Doors and windows were large laminated glass. Town’s designs are primitive by today’s standards but I think form a model for rapid construction of car bodies. Have a look and tell us what you think.
