  1. Excellent stuff really interesting thanks. Do have a look at what Ian Scott and Moltex are doing with super safe low cost nuclear power. They have molten salt thermal storage (as used in solar thermal power plants) to give peak loads of 3000MW from a continuously running 1000MW reactor. The reactor itself is much lower cost because the functional hazards of “normal” nuke operation have been designed out.
