  1. People have died in house fires because their windows were all unbreakable. Vehicles need the side windows to be breakable. Otherwise how do emergency services extract accident victims? I can see the point for curved truck screens. However flat laminated glass is cheap and easily replaced. Really why would we want something silly money expensive when replacement is cheap?
