Switch to steels and put your a Tesla alloys in storage. They are stronger and easily straightened if they do get dinged. The full set will be cheaper than one alloy. Fit Tesla aero covers and nobody will know.

You said the rolling radius is virtually the same but the aftermarket certainly LOOKS smaller diameter than the OEM. What's the difference if you measure one full turn over a smooth surface?

STEEL wheels and flush trims. Easy to repair if needed and low costs if it’s not.

My car weighs 975kg (call it a ton), sits on 195-50-R15 tyres (98mm side walls) wrapped around 6.5J ET30 alloys. But hit a typical UK pothole and the wheels go lumpy. I’m sick of the hassle so going to same size steel wheels. They cost so little as to be almost disposable so when the inevitable happens it won’t really matter so much.

You could probably run a 17" steel further improving the tyre sidewall height and 17 tyres should be cheaper as well.
